| December 1, 2007Ramsey and Hennepin County SDT and MRT to ChangeAfter December 31, 2007, in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties, the Mortgage Registration tax will change from .0024 to .0023 and the State Deed Tax will change from .0034 to .0033. These rates will be in line with the Mortgage Registration Tax and State Deed Tax rates charged in all other Minnesota Counties.
The old rates should be charged for any closing (documents dated) on or before December 31, 2007. The new rates should be charged for any closing occurring after December 31, 2007. |
